Quick shout out and update!!! We want to reach out and thank all of our neighboring companies that covered us while we were out of service these past couple of weeks. Since we here at CCFABLSS57 are like family we kept our weekly pasta dinner rolling dying this time of quarantine. Unfortunately, we all got coronavirus. HOWEVER, it was a blessing in disguise. We would like to introduce the new county dedicated Coronabus. Corona 57 is now in service and will be due on all suspe...cted corona patients in the county. Being that our providers have experienced coronavirus they are now immune. We will be able to assist everyone without fear and will greatly benefit from not having to buy more costumes and cleaning supplies!!! Cheers! Mike Hunt Chief CCFABLSS57
Just want to send a quick shout out to our neighbors at the Wa-Ho-Co Sta 41 for their new EMT conscious lighting system they installed around their station. On this blessed EMS week it warms our hearts to learn that folks are taking proactive steps to make sure we can rest easy. We at CCFABLSS57 are now looking into replacing our big ole ding dingers with safety conscious soothing tones and soft lighting. When you walk into our station you won't know weather to ask for a happy ending or a band aid. Looking forward to progressing into the future Arlo Dusk Newly Appointed Massage and Soothing Guru

Always happy to support our neighbors! Tripp has been around the block once or twice, if ya know what we mean! This is excellence, dedication, and commitment. The members of CCFABLSS57 strive to communicate as effectively as Paul does! God speed! Respectfully submitted, Woody Yates Director of Operations; Ways and Beans Division, Lead drummer in THE band.
ATTENTION COMMUNITY STAKEHOLDERS: The CCFABLSS57 will be following in the footsteps of our brothers out west in supplying tactical EMS hoodies. The below hoodies will be supplied to our most active members, valued videographer followers, and gained community fundraisers. The safety committee agreed to splurge on the extended pull strings and longer hood options. Our priority is safety, the need for the extra long hood if strictly for the patient to get the responders attentio...n by a quick tug to the neck. We again thank our western cohorts and hope one day to be as safe as them. With appreciation, Al Dente, Pasta Night Coordinator Emeritus, Assistant Co-Chair of external winter specialty clothing.
It saddens the membership to report the loss of this mid 2000’s hog pictured below. This hog belongs to our brothers and sisters of the 60th battalion. This piece, equipped with a mode button was always first due into its second due fires. We at the CCFABLSS57 will truly miss being beaten into our first alarm HOT rippers. Staffed houses usually hurt feelings, but there was nothing but love..... and hose, from these neighbors. Submitted with dooo regard, Conrad Williamsonson... The CCFABLSS57 fire suppression division was hard at work at a historic apartment fire yesterday. After realizing the structure could not be saved and that fatalities would be at a minimum crews decided to cross some streams and relax. We hear at the CCFABLSS57 believe that our job is very stressful in mind body and spirit and we love to see the fellas having fun. Submitted Smithers cockelson Fun and frolic officer... Happy Black Friday! Don't forget to stop by our semi annual Black Friday Turkey Fryer Drop event. Bring your frozen uncooked turkey inside the engine bay and we will drop your turkey from a 7 foot ladder into a pot of boiling oil. We will frying from 7-9 or until all supplies are used. Don't worry we'll have a truck standing by with a trash line in case things get out of hand. If you don't have a turkey to bring we will also have plenty of frozen turkeys left over from last year for sale (price depending on size) so gather your family around the pot and help support CCFABLSS57
Even as these chilly days of Fall and Winter are upon us remember to keep all hydration plans in effect! Don't wanna dehydrate after working a hot job or responding to a smells and bells. Or even after a hot medical box.

Being that this halloween nonsense is over and done with our members are now preparing for the holiday season!! Here's a few holiday safety tips so you can enjoy the holidays in one piece. 1. Watch out when carving that turkey! The most common holiday injury are knife injuries. 2. Frying up that turkey for the giving of thanks? Do it in your garage to conserve heat and avoid hypothermia... 3. Avoid tripping hazards by plugging all your wires and extensions cords into the same outlet. Don't need drunk uncle Albert tripping over the tree lights and breaking his hip again. 4. Fireplaces are totally safe and don't need to be extinguished when you go to bed or go out to wait in line at the local wal-mart. Keep these safety tips in mind and have a safe couple of months! Submitted H.D Charger Holiday Safety and Decorations Commissioner 1st Class CCFABLSS57
Being that is it September 1st we wanted to remind everyone of our fall FUNdraisers. The pumpkin patch will soon be open so come pick your favorite gourd. Get lost in the MAISE of corn. Poo yourself in the haunted ambulance. Drink a pumpkin spiced latte (PSL) or 4. Rake some leaves. It will be a rip roaring good time here at the CCFABLSS57 house these next few months so don't miss out! Sincerely, Richard Pounder Fall Festivities and all things basic coordinator... Hey kids! As we continue these dog days of summer always remember to have a hydration plan. Without a hydration plan we are useless. If you or your company doesn't have a hydration plan maybe think of advocating for one!!! God Bless, Justin Case Drinkwater Safety Officer-Hydration supervisor CCFABLSS57
