We often get this question. Can I put yard waste out along with my leaves during the November and December collections? The answer is yes. Yard Waste including brush, leaves, and other green materials may be placed in the brown yard waste bags and placed at the curbside concurrently with your regular trash collection. Ever wonder what happens to your yard waste?

Yard waste collection continues on Monday October 19, 2020 in Zone 1, 2,and 3. Tuesday in Zone 11and 12. Wednesday in Zone 9 and 10. Don't know what zone your collection is? Click on this link: https://lancaster-pa.maps.arcgis.com//StoryMap/index.html

Yard Waste Collection starts again on Thursday October 15th and runs through Wednesday October 21st. Yard waste collection happens on the same day as trash collection.

What a great morning in SoWe with some really terrific neighbors! With a little help from a Love Your Block Grant and some neighbors that want to make a difference, you get a block wide clean up! The grant was used to purchase 96 gallon carts to help reduce litter and add a little flare to the block! Way to go to the residents of the 500 Block of Poplar Street!#putalidonlitter #loveyourblock
