Applications for Thanksgiving Basket assistance for individuals and families in need will be taken next week on Tuesday, November 3rd from 9am - 11am & 1pm - 3pm and Wednesday, November 4th from 9am - 11am, 1pm - 3pm, & 4pm - 6pm at the Sankey Center, 125 W Grant St, New Castle 16101. Applicants must provide proof of identification for everyone in the household. All adults must present a Driver's License or Photo ID card. Children can be represented by a County Assistance Office Print Out, Social Security Card, Gateway Card or Birth Certificate. The Mission is following CDC cleaning and safety guidelines and asks that guests wear a mask upon entering the facilities.

The City Rescue Mission has always appreciated the support we have received from our community over the years. We would like to give a special thank you to Augustine's Pizza for helping us out the past few days by donating their refrigeration truck to the Mission when our walk-in freezer broke down. Their assistance ensured that the Mission didn't lose any of our food inventory that is needed to help feed homeless and hungry people in our community. Thank you!
