What are you thinking about? Today Pastor Kristian discusses our thought-life and the power of a positive perspective. Our thoughts shape who we are because our words and actions will follow.

"Jesus always had compassion for the sick, but make no mistake, their healing really took a back seat to His much greater concern for their spiritual well-being. Our need for healing is secondary to our need for forgiveness of sin." ~ Shane Wilson - The Promises of God - When I Need Healing

The stress of life can be overwhelming, but God brings peace and contentment to our lives if we let Him. Today Pastor Dan reflects on Psalm 23 and encourages us that if we have God, we don't need anything else.

I wanted to take a moment to share my heart with you regarding Governor Wolf’s recent announcement implementing new restrictions on gatherings. Regarding in-person worship, as you know, effective today, indoor gatherings of more than 10 people are prohibited. This would obviously make it impossible for us to worship in person. However, it was made clear by the Pennsylvania Department of Health that churches, temples, synagogues, and mosques are excluded from the limitations ...of indoor gatherings." As a result, we will continue to provide in-person worship like we have done for the past 25 weeks. Our protocols and procedures are practical and responsible. Our low per-service occupancy (400 max) in a room that seats over 2,200 people provides for significant social distancing. Additionally, we have increased the spacing between individuals, will continue to encourage the use of masks and face coverings, and will continue to sanitize the Sanctuary and other key areas of the building. As we have done since March, we continue to approach every decision prayerfully and responsibly. We fully appreciate that our church family will continue to make the personal decision to join us in person or worship online. We have and will continue to work diligently to provide you with multiple options. Please know that we feel the significant weight of these decisions. We appreciate each of you, your prayers and support more than you'll ever know. Andwe are looking forward to experiencing Act I of The Journey, our two-part illustrated sermon, with you tomorrow in person or online! - Pastor Shane & Heidi
