COVID-19 #Signage Update: The state of #Georgia has passed Senate Bill 359 or the Georgia #COVID-19 Pandemic Business Safety Act. This new bill helps protect businesses from COVID-19 claims by effectively halting any COVID-19 claims based on ordinary negligence. The facts of any successful COVID-19 claim must show gross, willful, and wanton misconduct, reckless infliction of harm, or intentional infliction of harm. The new law asks businesses to post a sign at building entra...nces (using the text in the sign below) with at least one-inch Arial font placed apart from other text. Covered entities are defined specifically to include healthcare facilities and healthcare providers, as well as associations, companies, corporations, governmental entities, religious or educational organizations, and volunteer organizations, among others.
