The COVID-19 pandemic has brought isolation, depression, unemployment, food insecurity and more. In many of our communities, Ys are stepping up to provide solutions to the needs created by the pandemic. From connecting those feeling isolated to collecting and distributing meals and food, to providing essential childcare to supporting neighbors experiencing homelessness, Ys are helping our friends, families and neighbors. We pledge to continue to listen to those we serve, remain flexible and be responsive to what our communities need. We have worked to implement numerous protocols and procedures that provide the safest experience possibleand we won’t stop. The health and safety of those we serve and our communities at large remain our greatest priority and are the central focus of our operations and staff teams, especially as COVID-19 infections rise. This is our commitment to protect the health, safety and well-being of our members, staff, those we serve outside of our walls and everyone who visits our facilities by following federal, state and local public health guidelines. We stand in solidarity with our fellow YMCAs across Pennsylvania.

In compliance with the mandated closure order from the state of Pennsylvania, we will close our facility effective Saturday, December 12, for all indoor fitness, pool and program use. This temporary closure will continue through Monday, January 4, 2021 at 8:00 AM. We are preparing to re-open our facilities at that time. First and foremost, we want to thank you for supporting our Y and our staff who proudly serve you every day. Your continued membership and program enrollment ...means we can continue to be here supporting you and your community. To help you through the next 3 weeks we will Add links to our website for virtual classes. Offer you a Fit Kit. Suspend the monthly membership draft on 12/15/20 and begin that draft on 1/15/2021. The draft on the 4th of January will only be drafted at half (50%) to reflect the time of the mandated closure. The monthly swim team draft will continue on 12/22/20 and the season will be extended. These policies could change at any time as more information is received from the State of Pennsylvania. Please continue to check our website for changes and additional information.
