Clifton Heights Borough Police Department

The CHPD has received several calls from citizens who do not live locally stating an officer called them. The caller states we have a warrant for them. The caller then tries to elicit personal information and coerce them into paying a fine. The caller ID shows our office number. THIS IS A SCAM CALLED SPOOFING.... If you have no business with this department or haven't visited Clifton Heights it is highly unlikely we would have a warrant for you. Also, we would not request personal information or payments over the phone.

We got our second dose of the vaccine yesterday. Arm hurts and some body aches but we're ok....I think.

The CHPD teamed with the Kiwanis Club to provide needed school supplies to local students. We are always proud to work with our local service organizations to make our community a better place. Thanks to Kathy for inviting us to participate.

CHPD arrested Shane Milano of the 400 block of S. Springfield Rd. for Possession with Intent to Deliver and related charges along with firearms offenses. At the conclusion of drug investigation spurred by citizen complaints, police served a search warrant at the Milano residence locating a loaded 40 cal pistol, suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, and marijuana. Along with these items police located drug packaging equipment, supplies, over two thousand dollars in cash and surveillance equipment.

Baltimore Avenue at Scottsdale Rd is now closed. Please stay out of the area.

There are several road closures in our neighboring towns. This includes Aldan Collingdale, Secane, Darby and Darby Twp. If you do not need to travel please stay home.

The 100 block of West Baltimore Avenue between Church Street and Sycamore is now closed due to flooding. Please stay out of the area.

With TS Asaias forcasted to come to town over the next 36 hours or so, please excercise caution. Do not drive into standing water or flooded areas, be aware that downed trees are likely and report power outages to PECO directly at 1 800 841 4141. You can also download the PECO app from the App Store. All emergency needs can be reported via 911. Stay safe!

The members of the CHPD express our condolences to the Micozzie family during this time of sadness. Nick was a true supporter of Law Enforcement and a friend to the CHPD. He will be sadly missed and never replaced.
