Some of our ladies tonight putting in hard work on the Reformer! Once you progress to a Level 2.0 you get to do standing exercises on the reformer! It’s fun watching our member get better and better at their practice. Way to go!
Guess what skeletons don't have... Lungs! But don't worry, you do! Improve your posture by breathing deeply and filling up those lungs with some crisp October air. Utilizing your breath is a quick and easy way to improve your posture throughout the day.... Inhale deeply while sitting or standing in place to bring yourself into a more lengthened and decompressed position. A body at rest likes to slouch and round forward. The use of breath creates space and improves posture to oppose this.

Before class starts, begin tuning into your #breath Notice if you’re taking shallow breaths and begin deepening them for your practice. By focusing on your breathing, it allows you to clear your mind even further; it’s an active way to keep other thoughts from the day from creeping in.... If those thoughts do come in, merely observe them and let them pass through.

Karen just completed her 200th class! Way to go Karen! Karen signed up for one of our very first intro classes almost a year ago. She was always curious about and intrigued by the Pilates Reformer and was excited to give us a try. Almost a year later and she has significantly decreased her hip pain! She finds so much value in our classes and feels our studio is the best physical therapy she could give to herself.... We are lucky to have you Karen and appreciate the wonderful review!
