Vivace summer has always been a way for students from different universities to meet, work together, learn from one another and develop bonds that get celebrated at the CMBF...We'll all be missing one another this month but looking forward to these programs!!!

Attention Pennsylvania Band Directors! Mark your calendars. Wednesday, May 6th at 4PM EST. You are invited to a panel discussion of college band directors in Pennsylvania. This is to help you as high school directors to be able to share with your students information about what kind of band opportunities exist and what they might expect to experience. The panel discussion will be led by Matt Alosi with five different band programs representing a liberal arts college, a public... university with a music major, a public university without a music major, a large national university with a music major, and a large national university with a small music major spread through urban, suburban, and rural settings. Topics will include recruitment practices, auditions, band camp, rehearsals, show concepts, performances and travel. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions.
