Colonel Denning State Park

Starting Today September 30, 2020, and possibly lasting until October 23, 2020, Colonel Denning State Park will be closed for road paving. The main park road will be closed as well as the campground and pavilions; there will be no access to the park. Hiking/Trail access is available at the Elk Hill Road, Tuscarora Trail parking lot. The Beach/Swimming is closed for the season. Thank you for a great year - see you next season!

Volunteer work day and picnic - come on out to the park!

Road Closure starting September 28, 2020: Park roads, parking lots, and pavilions will be closed starting September 28, 2020 for a road paving project. The campground, and organized group tenting area will be closed on October 1 for paving. Thank you for your understanding as we work to make a permanent improvement in the park.
