Each holiday season, the Conshohocken Police Department, Colonial Neighborhood Council, Conshohocken Fire Department, and the Colonial School District engage in... collecting new, unwrapped toys from thoughtful community members. The Toys for Tots Foundation was originated by the U.S. Marine Corps in 1947. This pioneering campaign became so successful; countless communities adopted a similar philosophy. This year more than ever, we need your help. In years past, we put out toy collection bins around town. We are unable to do that this year, so we are asking those interested in donating toys to drop them off at our Police Station. It has been a tough year, please help us help the families and children in our community that need it most. The toy drive is wrapping up early this year due to Covid restrictions. Please try and drop all toys off before December 10th. Our time frame is limited, but Conshy always steps up to make this a success! The Mayor has declared a snow emergency for the Borough of Conshohocken beginning today Tuesday, December 15th at 3pm and continuing until further notice. Due t...o impending weather conditions and the Mayor’s Snow Declaration, Borough Hall and the Community Center at the Fellowship House will close at 12:30 PM tomorrow, Wednesday, December 16th. In addition, Borough Hall and the Community Center will also be closed on Thursday, December 17th. Business will still be conducted remotely, and employees may be reached through phone or email. Join the Borough of Conshohocken for its first ever Drive-In Christmas Movie! The Grinch (2018) will be featured on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 7:00 PM at the B-field, located at E 13th Avenue and Hallowell Street. This is a free event, but space is limited. First come, first serve. Cars must register online at https://conshohockenrsp.recdesk.com/Communi/Program/Detail. All cars must check in and enter the field along E 13th Avenue. Check-in begins at 6:00 PM. Please present your registration confirmation upon check-in.
