Amtrak has begun testing its new baggage cars in the Northeast Corridor! The baggage cars will feature locking bicycle racks down the whole length of the baggage cars - allowing the cars to accommodate as many bike or as much luggage as is needed! Commuter Connection PA found a Postal Service truck, a Frito Lays delivery truck, and an Ambulance parked in the bike lane at 38th and Spruce in front of a "No Stopping, Any Time" sign, and Tweeted them to the Philadelphia Parking Authority. The app can help cyclists time their commutes and trips around the city, and data gathered through the app will be used to improve bicycle infrastructure across the city. Check it out!
