In recent days, Americans engaged in peaceful protests have been blinded by rubber bullets and other projectiles fired at the face. While classified as non-leth...al, they are not non-blinding. Earlier this week, Dr. Silbert completed an emergency surgery. During his time in the OR he wore a PAPR. A PAPR is a special type of PPE that uses a blower instead of lung power to draw air through the filter. This lets you breathe more naturally while feeling a constant airflow in your headtop while working in hot and humid environments.

After careful consideration and with your health and safety in mind, Conestoga Eye is moving as many appointments to our online appointment platform as possible. If you are not able to do an online visit, we will seek to reschedule your non-urgent appointment. We wish to keep our phone lines available for urgent patient management issues. There is no need to contact our office to reschedule your appointment. We will reach out to contact you as your appointment approaches to ...reschedule or set up a virtual visit. If there is an urgent problem, please let us know, and we will advise you how to proceed after discussing matters with your doctor. Rest assured that we will make every effort to give all patients who reschedule their appointments an appointment as soon as we get back to a regular schedule, adding appointment slots or extending hours as necessary.
