2020 has been a challenging year full of unforeseen circumstances. First a devastating fire caused severe damage to our community space in January, a global pandemic in March and the ongoing fight that all Black Lives Matter. Despite these hardships, we’ve jumped into action to serve with and for our neighbors by: -launching a community food distribution providing nearly 1100 lunch and dinner meals, 400 fresh produce boxes, PPE, household supplies + other critical care item...s -donating over $6,000 to elders, youth/families and artists living in the community -distributing 55 laptop computers to youth/ families living in West Oakland, Oak Hill + Hill District -collaborating with partners to host engaging virtual youth and adult programs for folks of all ages to enjoy and so much more! We couldn’t do this work without hundreds of donated volunteer hours, community partners and your generous contributions.
