During Heroes Week this year, we will be having a "Meet your Heroes" event on Saturday, September 12th! Some first responders and their vehicles will be here fr...om about 1pm to 2pm. Don't forget that police, firefighters, EMT, military, nurses, and doctors who camp two or more nights receive a 50% discount! Must present valid ID at check in. No other discount applies. Please Share! Attention Residents of Cornplanter Township and surrounding areas: For the foreseeable future the fire level for our area has been raised to yellow. This means there is an increased risk of dry conditions and the possible occurrence of a wildland fire. ... Cornplanter townships burn days are Thursday through Saturday a half hour after dawn to a half hour before dusk. Always remember to make sure no burnable material is around while burning and to thoroughly soak all coals when done. Together we can help prevent wildfires.

Cornplanter fire dept received 1 of their sensory bags today. I have to give it up to this department because without knowing it, they had 3 different people me...ssage to get a bag. This shows us that this department is dedicated! Thank you for your services, thank you for protecting those with autism and thank you for being a great department! Autism Stands will be distributing sensory bags to all local emergency responders, if you would like a bag for your department please message us. Bags are made to aid in an emergency situation where a person with autism may be at risk. Items in sensory bag are made to touch all senses in case of a sensory overload, to help comfort and console the person with autism and make a safer emergency situation for both the person with autism and the emergency responders. Superior Ambulance Service Training Institute will be having an Emergency Medical Responder ( EMR ) course starting on September 30, 2020 and an Emergency Medic...al Technician ( EMT ) course starting on September 10, 2020. Cost of each class covers all books, online materials, and supplies. It does not cover the final state written fee.
