They're a maple cake & maple frosting center, covered in white chocolate, and topped with maple sprinkles!... Another beautiful and productive day in the woods on Sunday! Out with the old drop lines and in with the new! Every few years we change out the drop lines going from the tap in the tree, to the lateral sap line. This helps increase sap yield, and therefore increases Pure Maple Syrup yield!... Over time bacteria and yeast can form in drop lines, which can then be transferred to the tap hole. In an effort to keep our tubing system running efficiently, we make sure to change these out when it's time!

Just looking back on some great years as we get ready to head into the woods to prep for another season! There has been lots of improvements over the years, biggest one being that we don't have buckets anymore! We use a more efficient tubing system!
