Creekside Stable

Ok, snow has begun to fall once again. I love the snow but, it can stop now. A few pics from its beauty today

Happy to report all barns have been plowed, stalls mucked and pm feeding will commence soon. Horses were all turned out today and boy did they kick up their hooves in the snow.

I love the snow I love to care for all the horses in the snow, I really do My knee not so much. Megan was a huge help through the storm. My favorite is when they are set loose in the pastures the day after the snow storms. They go frolicking like kids. Tomorrow will be fun to watch. All the horses were happy to have their hot mash for dinner time, extra hay and some more electrolytes with lots of neck rubs since everyone has blankies on.

All horses have received some special TLC for the 2021 snow storm. Feild boarders have had large hay bales delivered since Sat, automatic waterers are checked twice daily. Stall and feild boarders will receive a hot mash with a bit of electrolytes for the evening with a bit of extra hay to keep them busy. Stay safe and warm. We have discovered when we did our mid day wellness check at all 3 barns that roads are getting worse

Horse industry is not for the weak hearted. I appriciate all my workers so very much everyday but especially in the winter months. Its brutal for them.

Welcome Copper, Sheldon and Mickey to Creekside today. Copper is our new addition to our lesson/show program for 2021, Sheldon as a new hunter jumper mount for the 2021 season and Mickey came a long way to board here at Creekside Stable today. Its an awesome day
