Here at Critter Connections we are ready to share our fun, educational and hands-on animal programs for your next birthday or other event. We will share our captive-born snakes, geckos, a bearded dragon, turtle's, insects, and rabbits and guinea pigs. We will follow all COVID requirements. Our animals are safe to touch and hold. Hello Parents with school-age children. If you have chosen to home-school your children in the coming school year, please visit the home school co-op web site, www.lafco-op.com. LAF stands for Learning and Fun! I am a teacher in this wonderful, Christian-based organization, which has been providing quality education for home-school students for many years. I taught in-person life science lessons (with my live animals) this past school and this coming year I will be providing ...virtual, Zoom lessons on physical science and problem solving. The LAF students, teachers, administrators and parent volunteers normally meet every Thursday for in-person instruction at the Grace Fellowship Church in Shrewsbury. It is the large church on the hill next to the Wal-Mart plaza. Due to COVID, the teachers will only provide virtual lessons on Zoom starting on September 17th. Our teachers will be providing their 50 minute lessons at different times from Monday through Friday all year long. We currently have over 200 students enjoying the instruction, and we expect more students will join in the coming weeks as many parents choose to home-school their children for safety reasons. Although the co-op is not designed to fulfill all the educational needs of your children, the lessons provide valuable instruction to supplement the education parents provide at home. Our teachers are well qualified in the subjects they teach, which include reading, writing, math, art, music, history, science, Latin, Spanish and other subjects for children in grades preschool through high school.
