Cub Scout Pack 405 25.01.2021

Our December Pack Meeting will be held virtually via Zoom on Thursday, December 17th at 7 p.m. Join us as Pennsylvania German folklorist and musician Keith Brintzenhoff introduces Scouts to some Pennsylvania German Christmas traditions! We'll get a chance to meet the Belsnickel, sing some fun holiday songs, and listen to a reading of the Pennsylvania German/English version of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. Mr. Brintzenhoff is an educator, a regular performer at The Pennsyl...vania German Cultural Heritage Center events and The Kutztown Folk Festival, and a former Scout. Meeting details have been distributed to parents via Scoutbook and posted in Pack 405's Facebook Group. If you have a boy or girl in grades K-5 interested in Scouting and would like to join us for this event, please message us and/or email [email protected] and we'll get you an invite!

As part of our annual Scouting for Food service project, we had a contactless drop-off at Jarrettown Elementary School where Pack 405 collected food donations. This food went to the Seeds of Hope food pantry in Dresher, where it was much needed. Special thanks to the families of Pack 405 and Jarrettown Elementary School for their donations, and to Jarrettown PTO (our chartering organization) for their support with this service project.

On Saturday November 21, Cub Scout Pack 405 is collecting food in support of Ambler's Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard as part of our annual Scouting for Food service project. There will be a contactless/unmanned drop-off/collection point in the rear parking lot (back by cafeteria entrance) of Jarrettown Elementary School from 12-3 p.m. Last year we collected more than 750 lbs. for Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard, Inc. -- we're trying our best to beat that this year!
