The June meeting of the Historical Society will be held on June 21st at the old grade school in Centreville, room 5. The meeting starts at 6:30 and all are welcome to attend.

We would like to thank everyone who came to our Scanning Blitz last Saturday. We acquired some new photos, some new genealogy information and new friends! We plan on holding another one in the future!

The Society will be holding a Scanning Blitz on May 21, 2016 in room 5 of the old Centerville Elementary School starting at 10 am. What is a scanning blitz? We will scan, on the spot, any old photos, documents, letters to our computer. This way, you get to keep your items and we have a copy of them for our archives. If you have any item that you wish to "donate" to the society, we will gladly accept them for our archives. We will also, for a small fee, burn your scanned photos and documents to a CD for you or print them out for you. The room and its contents will also be open for all who would like to see what we have. Hope to see you there!
