This is a great article that helps explain the different types of paint that are out. It also goes into sheens and why you might want to use one over another. We've noticed for interior projects, most people prefer eggshell/satin, but it also depends on the room or project. For window and door trim a semi-gloss adds a nice touch. What do you prefer in your home?

This is our garage/apartment out back - and since we're only allowed to do emergency repairs for the time being (484-941-1609 if you have one) we're getting things crossed off the to-do list at home. It's crazy what a little power washing and paint can do! The grey we used was color matched at Sherwin Williams to the siding we installed when we added a dormer to our second floor. We're huge fans of Sherwin Williams - the paint is always a consistent color, even if you have to run out for one more gallon for touch ups.

We've always wanted to do this to our own house. Maybe a project to add to the list while we're quarantined at home?
