Another excellent training tool in the EPS tool box! A few weeks ago the Collingdale Fire Company Station - 33 donated a Hurst hydraulic cutter and 2 hydraulic combination tools. These pieces of equipment are better known as the Jaws of Life. After receiving this donation, we were able to purchase a hydraulic generator and a ram to make a full set of extrication equipment! Students spent today getting the tools ready for service and putting them through their paces. We would like to sincerely thank the Collingdale Fire Company for their continued support of our program! We wouldn’t be nearly as well equipped if it wasn’t for all of their help.
