Some Highlights from 2020: Master Class with Charlotte D'Amboise - such an inspiration! Father Daughter Dance - so much fun! Attending JUMP, VELOCITY, and NUVO Dance Conventions - many of our dancers winning scholarships, such fun weekends and so much learned for our Competition team. Our dancers getting accepted into prestigious summer programs like ABT (American Ballet Theatre) and Pennsylvania Ballet - you go girls!... Learning to to teach and dance virtually over Zoom, seeing our school and the whole dance community come together to figure out how we can still keep dancing and adapt/overcome with resilience, free classes offered by master teachers, pop up classes offered by past, current, and guest DSDW teachers. Letters to Healthcare Workers, DSDW Spirit Week, DSDW Throwbacks, DSDW Make-Up Brush Video, Miss Jenn and her classes' video projects, and all of the fun and creative projects that came out of Quarantine DSDW Virtual Recital - everyone was amazing and it will be a recital we will never forget! DSDW Car Parade, and celebrating our graduating seniors with drive-bys* Opening back up in the summer for in person dance camps - these were an absolute blast! Starting the 8 Point Learning Program - our very own Preschool Program and completing one full session - looking forward to session 2 soon! So proud of these students and all that they have accomplished so far! Opening back up in September for in person classes, being able to dance with you all in person again, and having a great season so far with everyone keeping safe and healthy! Thank you! The day our pre-pointe students were surprised and found out from their advanced Pointe 3 older sister dancers they were getting pointe shoes! tonight these dancers had their first class en pointe with Miss Jenny! We are so proud!!

Congratulations to our Pointe 1 students on their first pair of pointe shoes!! We are so proud of you! A few weeks ago our advanced Pointe 3 dancers surprised our pre-pointe/pointe 1 class with the news that they all were getting pointe shoes, then followed fittings and sewing classes. Get into the Holiday Spirit! Join Miss Cassie for this exciting class intensive/session starting Monday November 2nd and ending with a special holiday performance opportunity!! "I Want to Be a Rockette" will focus on precision dance technique, choreography inspired by the Rockettes, and kick lines! Plus learn all about what it takes to be a Rockette from Miss Cassie who trained with them for multiple summers and assistant taught their workshops and intensive sessions at Broadway Dance Center in NYC!
