Warehouse/Lumber Yard Sales: Responsibilities Direct customer to building materials and supplies in the yard and warehouse.... Cut lumber and other building materials to size as requested by customer. Operate forklift efficiently and safely Lift over 75lbs of material Load, unload and move materials in the yard and warehouse. Assist customer in loading purchased materials safely and accurately into customer's vehicle Write load tickets correctly of purchased materials Inform store management or personnel of any customer complaints or requests in a timely manner Load product on to store delivery trucks for delivery and transfer Move materials and supplies from receiving area to yard or warehouse Mark and label lumber as specified by manager Assist with unloading deliveries Represent the company in a positive manner Work effectively in outdoor conditions Some knowledge of building materials a plus, but not required Other information: Full-time High-school or GED required; or equivalent Experience: Lumberyard knowledge required, experienced individuals only.
