Happy New Year! We at the Dillsburg Area Public Library look forward to a great year ahead with all our loyal patrons.

As we close 2020, I want to take a moment to thank everyone involved in making the Dillsburg Area Public Library the great place that it is. The volunteers, friends, board, and staff work tirelessly to serve our community.. For that they don't get nearly enough credit (but I can bank on the fact that none of them do this for credit anyway). Without all of them, the library is just a building. The new year's first Mystery Bin LEGO club is January 6. Take a chance on your very own bin of mystery LEGOS and build a masterpiece. Ages 6 and up. Each month, we will sanitize our LEGOS and fill twelve shoe box sized bins with a mystery assortment of blocks. The first twelve kids to sign up will receive a bin and use their blocks to build a masterpiece for our LEGO shelf. ... You can reserve a bin using the rsvp section at this link: https://www.yorklibraries.org/event/mystery-bin-lego-club/ We will reserve a bin for you until 6:15pm. Walk-ins are welcome until the bins are gone.

ICYMI: The Dillsburg Area Public Library is currently doing lobby pick up of holds only until January 10. Holds may be placed online or over the phone for retrieval during our normal operating hours. We are tentatively planning to return to allowing browsing on January 11, although this is subject to change based on the evolving COVID-19 situation.
