Somebody with the freedom to integrate various services as part of what they offer. 5. Somebody looking to maintain their examination skills without the responsibility of patient treatment. 6. Somebody who doesn’t want the overhead of maintaining a brick-and-mortar office location. 7. An adventurist who wants to wants to get outside and experience something new. 8. A person whose primary practice growth is stagnant due to personal or economic reasons. 9. A new graduate who has not yet decided on a practice area or location. 10. Somebody who has newly relocated or is about to relocate and wants a source of rapid growth.

Today a patient cancelled an appointment with me, a cancellation he never should have had to make. A FedEx driver I’ve taken care of before got stuck in Virginia making a pickup. He had advised his dispatcher that he was scheduled to see me for his DOT physical this evening, but she sent him on the run anyway. She stated she would look around for a doctor located near their VA terminal for him. The thing is, once Docs On The Move is popular all over the US, a company will nev...er have to go through this. All they have to do is call our call center and say, Our driver is not going to make it back in time for his appointment. Do you have a doctor near where he is? Not only will we, but all his past DOT physical records will be easily accessible to our Docs On The Move network team member located near where he is just by logging into the cloud where records are stored. Problem solved! I never did know the fate of this driver, but even after saying he preferred to come see me, his company sent him elsewhere. This is not okay by Docs On The Move standards. As our slogan says, we are changing the way DOT physicals are done.

We received 29 applications for the part-time office work positions we just advertised this past week. We are seeking two people, and we will be interviewing seven people this Tuesday. I just sent out emails to the seven people we would like to interview. Thanks to everyone for your interest! We will be keeping resumes on file for future reference.

Basic clerical work including faxing and emailing. Occasional phone work and scheduling. This is a work-from-home position. Hour and pay will increase as incoming business increases.

Today is only one full month since Docs On The Move has opened for business. We have doctors covering both Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the Des Plaines-Skokie area of Illinois. Activity is of course minimal since we are so new, and our "grand opening" is set for January 4. We're still putting together some ideas for Certified Medical Examiner recruitment and attracting patients and clients. For being around for only a month so far, I'd say we're off to a good start!
