Did you miss us? We've been closed for a month, but we're BACK! Right now!! Serving beers (draft & roughly 50 bottles/cans/4, 6 & 12 packs) & limited cocktails (till we get back to to speed). We'll be here till 8pm or so, come by and say hi, we sure missed you!!

***SIGMA KIDS ANNOUNCEMENT*** Many of you know how long the process of making this film and getting it out into the world has been and how much hope and disappointment we've experienced. But I'm happy to announce that The Sigma Kids has FINALLY, OFFICIALLY been APPROVED by the company that handles the Bowie estate!! Some of you know that they are very particular about which projects they approve and not everyone that asks is told yes (re: Stardust). We managed to persuade... them that this is a story that needs/deserves to be told! That it does nothing to hurt the Bowie legacy, only enhances it. The idea that my little film will have a chance to be seen worldwide by so many David Bowie fans, but also Music fans and fans of Music Docs in general is a HUGE deal for me. But making movies is expensive. To do it right the fees and the regular "cost of doing business" things are ASTRONOMICAL. I don't like the idea of Crowdfunding and swore I'd never do it...but I am...sort of. I have started a GoFundMe (See Below) for those that have been asking how they can help. But I'll be doing my best to provide some new Content, Merch, maybe auctioning off some collectibles/memorabilia, etc. Specific announcements to come but we're working on some cool ideas. I'm also open to bringing on additional investors who would have an ownership stake in the film, so if you've ever thought about being a Movie Producer now is your chance! PM me for details. Big shoutout to everyone that helped bring this thing to life and to everyone that came to any of our screenings! This has already been an amazing experience! Headed into work for a bit. Well be closing for a little while after today until I can get some things sorted. Be at a Doobies till at least 9pm. Stop by!

Thank you Victor, for always reaching out to us and very kindly helping to get the word to people! While we have met our goal, I'm grateful people are still contributing as I have no idea what the winter has in store for us and the more money raised, the better our chances of surviving the winter and being here in the spring are! Thank you to each and every one of you that have sent kind words of encouragement, shared our GFM link and plight, shared favorite stories about y...our experiences here, offered to purchase t-shirts (the new ones coming asap), offers of art projects to help raise funds (Natalie) , virtual Bowie-oke (Sara), DJing offers (Jeremy), singing live offers (Deej/Kenn), contributed to our GoFundMe campaign (too numerous to name here) and even written stories about us. Your actions have had me in tears several times a day for the last few days. I've said it before and I'll never stop. We couldn't do ANY of this without ALL of you. I provide the space/vibe, but you make it what it is. I know there are those that don't "get" Doobies, but boy, those of you that do and have shown us so much love for 40 plus years are the BEST!! I'm forever in your debt. In the words of Sally Field (although somewhat bastardized), 'You like us, you really like us'. Thank you ALL so very much.

So, it looks like the Jade Dome won for the new T-shirt color. If I could afford it, I'd get the Kiwi too, but alas, I don't. So here's what I was thinking of doing... since I don't have that many blue shirts left, I am contemplating ordering the Jade and the Kiwi (and the black always) this round and skipping the blue. Does that make you all happy? Or, should I order the Jade shirts this time, skip the blue and when the Jade gets low, order the Kiwi? LMK what you think. Thanks for all of your help!
