2021 EDT and Short Track Schedule On April 24th the series officially kicks off the 2021 season at the 2nd Annual "Neil Pritchard EDT Memorial" at Ironclad Mot...orsports in Kinston, North Carolina. They are planning several other extra activities taking place at the Fairground which should make this an incredible event to kick off the 2021 season. From there the series heads back to the 2014 EDT Track of the Year Black Ankle Raceway on May 22nd. Black Ankle Raceway in North Carolina is under new ownership and are already planning some improvements to put their track back in the conversation for the 2021 EDT Track of the Year after a 7 year hiatus. In 2014 we witnessed some of the best races in TT Racing and this should be an exciting and anticipated addition to the 2021 Schedule. The series then heads back north as the series focused on getting EDT Racing back in the Northeast in the New York, Pennsylvania region. It was exciting to have Hamlin Speedway reach out to the series to get back involved with EDT Racing after taking the 2020 season off. The exciting news for EDT Riders from that area we also have been talking with several other tracks that plan to step up their game, making some improvements and offer some local racing for those riders including Hamlin Speedway. Hamlin Speedway will also be the first round of the 2021 NEEDT Friday Night Short Track series. The series then heads a little west for the 52nd Anniversary EDT National at Pine Lake Raceway and Trails on July 24th-25th. In 2019 at the 50th Anniversary EDT Event this annual event was the largest EDT Event in history and in 2020 was the second largest EDT Event at this much anticipated EDT Annual Event. This annually is the largest EDT Event of the year and the Daytona 500 of EDT Racing. The series then stays in Ohio and heads back to Muskingum County Speedway for the second round of the 2021 NE EDT Friday Night Short Track series and then round 5 of the 2021 NE Extreme Dirt Track Championship Series EDT Season. In the first season of racing this track received many votes for Track of the Year and quickly has grown to one of the favorite tracks in EDT Racing. Labor Day Weekend the series heads to Owosso, Michigan for the final round of the 2021 NE EDT Friday Night Short Track series and round 6 of the 2021 season. OMP is the 2019 EDT Track of the Year and simply is one of the favorite and most anticipated events in EDT Racing. On Sept. 25th and 26th the NE Extreme Dirt Track Championship Series heads back to Pine Lake Raceway and Trails to conclude the 2021 season at the Multi-time EDT Track of the Year. 2020 was a challenging year and thanks to everyone in advance for their patience and understanding as we worked on the 2021 schedule. American Racer Tires Leader Scott McAdoo Passes Away at 52 On Friday October 2nd, Specialty Tires of America lost its long-time Racing Manager, Scott McAdo...o after a year-long fight with cancer. Scott worked for Specialty Tires for 29 years in various capacities and spent the last 17 years as a manger in the American Racer brand organization. Scott was responsible for supply chain management and product evaluation and worked with countless tracks, series and racers in his career. He served as liaison with the American Racer distributors world-wide. Scott was a loving husband to his wife Stephanie, and father to his best friend and son, Caleb. He lived and loved every day of his life and served as a model to all of us that knew him. His roots are here in Indiana County PA and he has scores of friends and family that know him as a wonderful man. His passing is a huge loss for all the lives he touched and the friends he made. We all begin a very difficult new era without the steady hand of Scott. Please keep his family in your prayers. We all will miss him terribly. Rest in peace Scott. See more

So we ran a bunch of laps in testing on the new American Racer Tires ATV 33 tire on a griddy high speed banked national dirt track recently. The tire is shown after many many laps. This is the right outside rear as we where mostly running oval. We rode the low middle and high line and the tire stayed consistent with laps times in the groove or in the loose never fading. The most amazing thing about this tire is it was working the entire time as the tread faded away and it... was still getting traction when almost completely worn. We have had other tires in past get like this and at this point you loose traction and it feels like you are on ice and our lap tires actually got faster. We left the testing session very impressed with the new tires and design and recommend to give Anerican Racer tires a try. After 2 main events, practices and 3 heat races these new 23 compound American Racer tires are still holding up plus still performing well on the track. A soft tire that has a longer life expectancy is something new in the ATV world. Tires are one of the most expensive things in ATV TT racing and we have found what could be a very good tire for years to come. To have a tire that last and works is incredible. Most soft tires in the past couldn't get you thru one event let ...alone a single race. Things have changed. In the past A soft tire could help you get out front early but fail after they break apart and we have used these now thru many times out on the track. They have proven not to fall apart and hold together thru a race but even more incredibly thru more than just one race. American Racer has redeveloped their tires with a new box style tread with integrated cooling holes that go to rear. Getting the correct air pressure has been part of the testing process and also the correct wheels to use with this new design. Chuckie Creech Racing has been working with the tire and at Pine Lake they used the 33 compound and got the win in the Pro Heat and also a 2nd class in proam unlimited. Another rider used in collegeboy and got the win in his heat at past event and also the did well at the first EDT National. Creech also pulled the holeshot and led the Pro main at the first EDT National at Kinston. Competition is good for our sport as American Racer has stepped back into the mix. Hoosier spent some time developing a great tire over the past few years which is a very good tire, but as Maxxis stepped away it opened the door for American Racer. American Racer is not a new company but was once the tire of choice for riders like Shane Hitt. American Racer has now stepped back into the mix and has a very good tire which is the newly developed soft tire the 23 and also the 33.
