After winning the timber sale bid, logging contractors remove the designated painted tree that we previously have marked and tallied. Weekly audits of the project area ensure that everyone (landowner, forester, and logger) is on the same page to ensure that the job is meeting all expectations from start to finish!

We were able to visit a timber harvest that was recently completed. This stand was originally treated with herbicide for woody invasive and a preemergent treatment to knockout the stiltgrass. It is now regenerating nicely with tulip poplar and oak.
