Our hygenist Hayley did an amazing job with our office gingerbread house this year and is so close to winning Dr. Gosh’s gingerbread contest! Please click over and like our gingerbread house if you feel so inclined. Every vote counts! Thank you! (You must first click on the picture to open it before you like it. Otherwise, the likes stay on our page and not on Dr. Gosh’s page and they will not be counted - thank you!!)

*Edited to add: As we implement these and other changes to follow current safety recommendations and social distancing, the way we schedule patients will, of necessity, be different including the blocks of time allotted for each appointment. To make this possible, it will be necessary to reschedule all patients that are currently scheduled from June through August. We will then be calling our patients to set new appointment times. To accomplish this as quickly and efficien...Continue reading

Parents cutting kids’ hair, kids cutting parents’ hair, or maybe just a little DIY in front of the mirror. Our staff at Brinton Pediatric Dentistry has been testing their hair cutting skills while staying at home. I think we better stick with dentistry! If you are feeling brave, show us your quarantine cuts!! We would love to see them!

As you are aware, nations across the world, including our own, continue to face the challenges created by COVID-19 and the sickness it causes. As part of this effort, our own staff and office have worked hard to create a safe environment for our patients, their families, and our staff. After much consideration, and in an effort to help minimize the spread of COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to close our office for a minimum of two weeks beginning tomorrow, Tuesday March 17, 2020. During this time we will continue to be available for emergencies and to discuss any concerns or questions you might have regarding your child’s dental health. Thank you for your understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

For those that have appointments for the next few weeks, please remember that you can TEXT (not call) 484-280-0463 from your cars when you arrive in the parking lot to check in. We will text you 'OK' to confirm we got then text and then we will CALL YOU to from the business line to notify you that your freshly cleaned room is ready. This will help everyone bypass the waiting room and keep the social distancing that officials are requesting. Our waiting room will still be open for individuals who prefer that, but please remember that toys and books have been removed. Thank you!

The world is grappling with an issue of enormous scale and human impact, and our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19). At Brinton Pediatric Dentistry, the health and safety of our patients and their families is our greatest concern. We want to make you aware of what we are doing to make your visit as safe as possible. We are contacting all patients prior to their appointment to screen and request that any individua...ls with any recent fever or cold/flu-like symptoms reschedule their appointment for a date at least 7 days after symptoms have disappeared. Please do not bring family members who have had symptoms within the last week of the scheduled appointment either. Individuals that would like to check-in from their cars in our parking lot are welcome to do so. We would then call you on your cell phone when your room opens up, thus bypassing the waiting room. For those that would still prefer to wait in the waiting room, toys and books have been removed from our waiting room to help minimize transmission of pathogens. Chairs will be wiped down daily with disinfecting wipes. We will be asking everyone to apply hand-sanitizer when you enter our facility. Pens used for office paper work will be disinfected after each use. Anyone coughing or sneezing for non-infectious reasons (aka allergies, chronic conditions, etc. will be asked to wear a mask out of an abundance of caution at this time. Anyone coughing or sneezing from an infectious disease will be asked to reschedule. In addition to these steps, we would like to note the following: Each patient room is thoroughly cleaned between patients with medical-grade cleaners, a practice we have always been doing each and every day. Our staff will continue to use the disposable protective equipment (masks, gloves, gowns, etc) necessary for their job position which further helps minimize pathogen exposure from one patient to the next. Hand hygiene is of upmost importance in our office and thorough hand washing or hand sanitizer is always used between each patient and entering/leaving the room. Equipment continues to be disinfected and sterilized between patients as always. We want you to know that you can book your appointments with confidence that we are doing everything possible to keep you and your loved ones safe and protected at our office. We will continue to employ procedures to minimize the spread of COVID-19 according to the CDC and other credible authorities and will keep you informed of any changes in our protocols. If you have any questions please contact the office at 610-395-4800. Thank you! Dr. Phillip Brinton and Staff at Brinton Pediatric Dentistry
