Meet Judy Bortz! Judy is a YWCA Greater Harrisburg Tribute to Women of Excellence Class of 2020. Judy Bortz has been with KPMG for three years and is a manager in our KPMG Harrisburg office with the HR and Talent Management department. She stands out as a leader amongst her peer group and she works hard to exemplify our core values, specifically as it relates to our commitment to the community and leading by example. Judy Bortz has lived in the Mechanicsburg, PA area for the ...past 25 years working in the ever-evolving information technology consulting industry. In addition to her volunteer efforts in support of KPMG’s literacy program, she volunteers at several events a year as a member of the United Way of the Capital Region’s Women’s Leadership Network. Her primary community service interests are childhood literacy and fighting hunger. She credits her father for demonstrating a life of passion and devotion to family, career and community. Judy’s interest in volunteer work began with her children’s participation in many sports and community activities during their childhood. She thanks her husband and children for their unending support and love. YWCA Greater Harrisburg Tribute to Women of Excellence of Honoree, Dr. Melissa Boltz, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Director for Emergency General Surgery at Penn State Health. She is well known by her supervisors, peers, and patients for her knowledge, clinical skill, and bedside manner. For the past four years she has been Penn State Health’s leader at the Caring Cupboard, a food pantry of Central PA Food Bank, and other community activities. Her passion has b...een to improve the health of the clients who attend the pantry who have chronic health care management needs. She attends the pantry monthly and with her team serving those in need with health education, assessments, and access to care. Her personality, leadership, mentorship, and motivation have been the keys to the success of this program. She gives tirelessly to others in our community. Meet Heather Gregory Arnold, today's YWCA Greater Harrisburg Tribute to Women of Excellence Class of 2020 Honoree! Heather Arnold demonstrates the hallmark qualities and characteristics of the YWCA Women of Excellence award, in her professional, personal, and community life. A Pennsylvania native, born in Harrisburg, graduate of Red Land High School, Heather has distinguished herself through a lifetime of community service and in her career. ... She serves Baughman United Methodist Church, New Cumberland, in various staff and leadership capacities. She uses musical talents in service to her church and community. She has served board memberships for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Keystone Diabetic Kids Camp, volunteers with Downtown Daily Bread and the United Way’s Women’s Leadership Network.
