School is not in session this week as we spend time with our families remembering the events of Holy Week and celebrating that the Son of God took on the world's sin and defeated the devil, death, and the grave!

Some of ECA's upper school students recently participated in Carnegie Mellon University's CS Academy Creative Task Contest. Congratulations to Micah and Isaiah who invested hours on their creative tasks and were awarded 2nd place!

Today, on Palm Sunday, we remember the day Jesus came into the town of Jerusalem riding on a donkey. The crowd laid palm branches and cloaks across the road, honoring Jesus as King and shouting, Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!

Reminder to rising students in grades 8-12: Be sure to return your Course Request Forms to the front office at the Mt. Nebo Campus. The due date is Friday, April 9. We're excited about the 2021-2022 school year!

ECA students are servant leaders. In March, a group of juniors and seniors delivered groceries and personal care items to an apartment complex housing 23 refugee families. The students were touched by the many smiles and the appreciation they showed for these items. Well done, students!

Happy Easter, Eden Family! Together, we celebrate that Jesus, the Son of God, fulfilled prophecy and through his death and resurrection, has given the gift of eternal life in heaven to those who believe. Mark your calendar for April 23! We are excited to announce that the upper school spring musical will be live-streamed. Students will present a compilation of music from our last six musicals. Watch for more details. You don't want to miss it!

ECA high school girls competed in our traditional powderpuff games where the senior class took the win! At ECA, your child is building friendships that can last a lifetime.

Berkeley Hills students are serving those in need by collecting warm gloves and mittens for Light of Life. Adult sizes are most needed but all sizes are welcome as well as hats and scarves. Donations for the Mitten Tree can be dropped at the Berkeley Hills Campus until December 22. Thank you Owen, PK4, for making a beautiful star for the top of the Mitten Tree. ECA students are world changers!
