The recent tragedy in Colorado points out the need for everyone to have some level of active shooter awareness. EdSecure, LLC will be working with the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce and several commercial vendors to provide low cost, timely training for the general public. An interesting overview of what some school districts are doing about school violence today. Does the school your children attend run regular drills for violent acting out behavior?

I will be attending the NaBITA conference at Tulane University the end of the month. NaBITA represents several hundred facilities with threat assessment and behavior intervention teams. There will be dozens of workshops covering workplace violence and active shooter situations. Future programs will contain ALL of the latest information on the subject of workplace violence.
