A laborer performs tasks involving physical labor at Paving, Utility Excavation, and Site Development sites. Operates hand and power tools of all types; tapping & drilling machines, asphalt lutes, spade and flat shovels, earth tampers, jack hammers, and a variety of other tools and equipment. Performs general house keeping duties, digs trenches, locates underground utilities, installs trench protection, and performs traffic control operations, Performs other duties as job tasks require.

An equipment operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner. Heavy equipment includes Excavators, Back-hoes, Rubber Tire Wheel Loaders, Track Loaders, Track Dozers, Skid Steers, Asphalt Pavers, Milling Machines, Asphalt Rollers, and various other pieces of equipment. Operator must also clean, maintain, fuel, and secure all equipment. Report any defects or unsafe conditions to site foreman or lead mechanic and properly complete all equipment logs, and fuel logs.

Roller Operator As a member of the paving crew you will performs tasks involving physical labor at Paving, Utility Excavation job sites. Operate various size rollers. Assists when needed to performs general house keeping duties, lutes black top, shovel material and performs traffic control operations. Assists other workers as required in various operations.

A paving laborer performs tasks involving physical labor at Paving, Utility Excavation, and Site Development job sites. Operates various pieces of equipment; street saw, paving screed, small roller, skid steer, etc. Performs general house keeping duties, lutes black top, shovel material and performs traffic control operations. Assists other workers as required in various operations.

The AFAD Flagging Technician will primarily control motorists and pedestrian traffic utilizing advanced flagging technologies on job sites. Assist in scheduling, set-up and execution of traffic control plans utilizing knowledge and understanding of Publication 213, MUTCD and knowledge of AFAD procedures. Individual will be responsible for protecting employees with this advanced system property. Will maintain flagger certifications and receive additional training annual with inhouse trainer. Individual will have to perform additional duties as assigned.
