Thinking today about my many childhood memories at the NH Veterans home. For several years of my childhood my dad was the veteran’s home chaplain. Every Friday afternoon we had a servicesinging hymns (my aunt Linda would come and play the piano!) my dad would preach, my parents would talk and pray for and listen and laugh with these wonderful people. My brothers and sisters and I got to spend hours every single week with WWII veterans and hear their stories. We *loved* pushi...ng their wheelchairs back to their rooms and being the recipients of their secret stashes of candy. Such a gift my parents gave us as kids to think outside our circumstances, and to value the generations that came before us, to not be afraid of people and situations that aren’t familiar and to foster gratefulness for what we’ve been given. It felt special then and is even more so looking back now. Photo of our groom from a couple weeks ago who serves in the coast guardgrateful every day for the many men and women who serve our country!

If every wedding day was like Sarah and Ryan's yesterday, we certainly wouldn't be complaining! Fun and happy people, no beautiful detail forgotten, perfect weather, hugs from a last year bride and a next year bride, and an amazing vendor team. Kat & Nick A storm rolled in just in time for their ceremony pushing it last minute into a wonderfully intimate and glowing indoor setting. They said there vows while the rain poured and thunder roared outside the barn walls. It was sweet and memorable and perfectly imperfect. But! Not gonna lie, when we slipped out with the umbrella for portraits and the sun came pouring through the clouds, Kat and I were nearly dancing with excitement. #nickfoundakatch #elizabethbaxterphotography

We've been taking so many pictures for amazing people over the recent months! Loving this Spring season of weddings.
