With the Current Winter Storm that is taking place and going to continue. Experts are predicting that we could see up to a foot of additional snow in some areas, leading officials to announce precautions and preparations. In Elizabethville Borough the Borough Council would like to advise citizens to remove their vehicles from the main streets of Elizabethville. Council is asking everyone to move their vehicles from the main streets and park in backyards or any other location... off the street to be respectful and allow the state workers to provide safe and proper removal of all snow. There will also be no trash removal for Monday Feb. 1 2021 and as soon as we get a rescheduled date we will be sure to inform the public. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this request. Elizabethville Borough currently has a vacant seat on Council. The term will expire December 2021. Interested parties can email a letter of interest to [email protected] or drop off at the Borough office at 68 S. Moore Street no later than Monday November 9, 2020 by 11:00 am.
On Saturday Oct. 3rd we had our Fall clean up for the Elizabethville borough. Thank you to all who came and helped unload all the scrap. Special thanks to Troop 86 for coming and helping. We filled 2 big dumpsters, a metal dumpster and a big trailer full of electronics plus a couple tires.
Leaf Pick-up Leaf pick-up will start: October 1 and end November 31 Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30 AM 2:00 PM.
Our 1909 restored cannon was delivered today. It may not appear large in the photo but the wheels are 5ft Dia and the unit weights 9,000 pounds!
Elizabethville Area Authority will be flushing fire hydrants on October 12, 2020 and October 14, 2020 between the hours of 11:00PM and 5:00AM. Customers could experience a decrease in water pressure and dirty water. Should you experience dirty water, simply run your taps until the water becomes clear.
Elizabethville Trick-Or-Treat Night will be Saturday, Oct. 31st from 6 pm. - 8 pm. If you chose to participate, Please Be Safe!
