Do you know the best disinfectants to kill COVID-19 particles? Per the EPA, not all disinfectants are the same. You should choose ones that not only clean, but... also disinfect. You should choose cleaning products that have been EPA approved (and registered). It’s also best to follow the instructions on the label, such as how long to leave a product on a surface. The EPA recently published a list of the most effective disinfectants to use in your home, car and other spaces. Here are just a few: Clorox Multi Surface Cleaner + Bleach Lysol brand Heavy-Duty Cleaner Disinfectant Concentrate Purell Professional Surface Disinfectant Wipes Sani-Prime Germicidal Spray Clorox Disinfectant Wipes To see the list, please visit https://www.epa.gov//list-n-disinfectants-use-against-sars #elkenvironmental #disinfectants #stayhealthy #epa #cdc

Carol Winner, a public health specialist, advises, "taking off your shoes before you enter the house any time you’ve gone outside to work or to a public place. This can help prevent the virus from being tracked inside. If you can leave them in your garage or in your entryway, that would be ideal, as you don...’t necessarily have to leave them outside, she said. The idea is to just not track them throughout the house. Dr. Georgine Nanos, a family practitioner specializing in epidemiology, states, As of today, we believe coronavirus can live on surfaces for up to 12 hours, potentially longer. She adds, And this definitely includes shoes. So, spray 'em and leave 'em at the door -- for now.
