Smile, the weekend is here! Happy Friday, everyone!

Lindsey is a good friend of mine and an amazingly talented fellow photographer who I’ve loved knowing and working with since I was a freshman in college! It was soo special getting to take her, Erik, and their little Ollie’s family photos today.

Congratulations to these two for getting engaged yesterday! It was so special to get to be there to capture these moments on one of our few sunny winter days in Pittsburgh. So so so excited for you @2lil2layt & @macaelaelaine , I love you guys!!

All cozied up. You would never guess it was 20 degrees when they took this! And how pretty is that lace detailing on Hannah’s sleeves?!

Hannah and Curt’s day might have looked a little different than they originally imagined, but they got to say I do surrounded by their close friends and family on a beautiful, very chilly (but sunny!!), winter day. It was so much fun getting to celebrate with them.

I can’t tell you how many photo shoots or weddings I’ve gotten to be a part of over the years, but I can tell you that nothing could prepare me for capturing my best friend of 20 year’s proposal on her 25th birthday. It was such a fun and difficult secret to keep the last few months and I couldn’t have been more excited as I hid behind a trash can and @erica_sumner16 hid in the bushes during the minutes leading up to their arrival. I couldn’t imagine two people more perfect for each other. I love you so much @jamiiesum & @dylanvansky.

I can’t believe that we are one month away from Christmas Eve! Not to skip over the fact that Thanksgiving is this week because I love it too , but since decorating yesterday I am feeling the Christmas spirit a little early this year. So I want to know what’s your favorite Christmas movie that you can’t wait to watch this December?

After we hiked to the top, we were laughing about how windy it was! I was shooting super rapid, hoping I would catch the wind at just the right time, and ugh... sometimes wind is the best.

These two. I am so thankful to them for being up for anything. I love this little town and somehow have never done a shoot here, so it was so fun exploring with them. I am so excited for their wedding next year.

You know how pictures are worth a thousand words? Here’s 10,000 words about how postponing your wedding and eloping has its perks. It was such an honor to capture Jordan and Chris as they tied the knot this morning with just the two of them, their officiant, and myself. After their ceremony, we hiked almost 3 miles on the most beautiful November day I could imagine. (Not to mention the fact that Jordan was prepared for anything in her Docs!! ) Seriously, it was perfection. Thank you Jordan and Chris for giving me the opportunity to be there and celebrate with you!

Chandler and David are married, and what a perfect day for it was!! I always love shooting at Succop, but getting to capture new Mr. and Mrs. Ulmer there was a dream! I couldn’t imagine a better last wedding day of this October!

That golden light. Tomorrow is my last October wedding, and I already know it’s going to be a beautiful one at one of my favorite venues! October has been a bit of a blur with how fast it’s flown by, but I guess time flies when you’re having fun

I can’t believe that yesterday was only my second time at Cuyahoga Valley National Park. It was at the top of my engagement shoot bucket list and it is such a blessing to have such a beautiful place just under 1.5 hours away! Thanks to Leah and Tyler for helping make my dream of shooting here come true. They couldn’t have made my job more fun or easy!

Soaking up every bit of fall this year because I really feel like this is one of the most vibrant falls I can remember. With all the craziness and uncertainty of this year, I am so thankful for God’s consistent and faithful love and the way it is reflected in His beautiful creation. : @er_ka.j

I don’t know if it’s being a bit of an old soul or just good taste, but I’ve always felt like I belong in the 60s and 70s... they have my favorite music, my favorite TV shows, my favorite cars, and my favorite clothes...
