The NWS is anticipating accumulating snow on Christmas Eve into Christmas Day. In addition to accumulations of 4-6 inches, a ~25 degree drop in temperatures is expected, creating a potential for a flash freeze. High winds are also expected. These factors are likely to cause unsafe road conditions and some power outages. Please plan accordingly.
If a snow squall warning is issued for your area, avoid or delay motor travel. However if you are already in transit & cannot exit the road in time, reduce your... speed, turn on your headlights and hazard lights and allow plenty of distance between you and the car in front of you. #WinterPrep #WinterPreparednessWeek
