Adultery is against UCMJ (the Uniform Code of Military Justice [official military regulations]) You need to fulfill/prove three ite...ms to have a viable claim of violation of UCMJ: Your husband must be married [this one’s obvious]. Your husband must be having sexual relations with someone else and you need conclusive proof of this [pictures, video, multiple witnesses, his or her sworn statement to the fact, a whole lot of circumstantial evidence, or a combination of the aforementioned. This is the hardest part, and non-negotiable. I’ve seen many investigations fail do to lack of concrete proof. You cannot simply claim adultery; you MUST HAVE PROOF]. Your husband’s actions reflect badly upon the unit or service branch at large, or are prejudicial to good order and discipline [this can be fulfilled by threatening or actually releasing your evidence to Facebook or social media; recommend you consult a lawyer for this]. If you can fulfill these three requirements, you will now need to contact his chain-of-command OR Inspector General (IG). Go to IG, they are much more helpful, and if you already have the items I mentioned you needed, this is a slam dunk [there is an IG office located on most major military bases]. Be nice to them; they are your best chance for a good resolution. Recommend you consult a lawyer for this. If convicted, your husband’s career will probably be destroyed over this [the other service-member will like likely be in the same boat], even if he is not initially kicked out. This is the nuclear option; don’t use it if you’re not CERTAIN you want it. Once you do, there is no going back. It can get very messy; I strongly recommend that you consult a lawyer, and one who understands military regulation.
