The EPYAL family lost a beloved member last night, Mike Falk. Mike lost a very courageous battle with cancer. Mike was heavily involved with EPYAL as a coach and director. More than that, though, Mike was an amazing person, husband, father, friend...he touched so many lives and will be missed by many. His wife, two daughter and the rest of his family will be in our thoughts.

Cheer Parents: If anyone is looking to volunteer in any capacity for EPYAL cheerleading, please come to the meeting scheduled on Thursday, April 22 at 6:00 pm. It will be held at Sheaffer Field. Congratulations to Luca DeGregorio! Luca was the 2021 South Central PA Champion for the Elks Club National Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest in the 10-11 year old boys division. Way to go Luca!

Registration is now OPEN for the 2021 Spring Softball Season and will close Sunday, March 7th at 11:45 pm. Registration fees are a flat rate of $65.00 for all age groups and will be collected by the coach the first week of practice. We understand that there are girls who are eligible to play up in an older age division in Spring 2021 and parents might not have the option to select the older age group for the 2021 Spring Season, so we are asking those parents to register their daughter at the lower age group and contact Mike Falk, EPYAL Softball Director, at [email protected] for registration adjustments to be made. After registration closes and rosters have been finalized, you will receive an email from your coach with important information regarding the upcoming Spring Season. Parents will be responsible for purchasing black softball pants for their player. The league will be provide the uniform shirt and socks. Parents are also strongly encouraged to purchase a fielders mask. It will more than pay for itself after the first week of practice, trust us on this one. Some important dates. Weather permitting, we hope to begin practices the week of 3/22/21. Games are set to start the week of 4/19/21. Fundraisers and picture dates are still being finalized. REGISTRATION IS LIVE TOMORROW!! 2021 EPYAL Baseball Spring Season Information Registration for EPYAL Spring Baseball 2021 Season will be live from January 16, 2021 through February 28, 2021.... REGISTRATION FEES: Registration fees have not increased from 2020 and the ‘early bird’ rate will be applied to all registration fees for the 2021 season. The registration fees are as follows: The ages for baseball are 4 17 years old. Instructional/Tee Ball (4-6 yrs old): $70.00* Pony (7-8 yrs old): $75.00* Minors (9-10 yrs old): $85.00* Majors (11-12 yrs old): $90.00* Teeners (13-17 yrs old): $130.00* * Plus a $3.00 service fee We do understand that certain players are ready to play up, and certain players should probably play down due to safety and skill level. We are willing to discuss all of this with any parent or guardian that wishes their child to play in another division. We only ask that you sign up in the age appropriate division, then reach out via email to discuss the move within divisions. This helps keep things organized for us. We will evaluate the numbers and then formulate teams and divisions. Anyone interested in coaching or volunteering will need to attend a mandatory meeting at a later date to discuss expectations and COVID protocol. All Teams will wear white pants. NOTE: The color of pants required will be white, no exceptions. As of now, EPYAL will not be able to hold any basketball activities. We will reevaluate later in the year to see if there is a possibility of having something late 2020/early 2021. We apologize for not being able to have a normal start to a basketball season but we will get back on the courts as soon as possible. EPYAL BASKETBALL UPDATE We are hoping to have a season this year. Normally, registration would be open in the next few weeks. However, due to the current circumstances with COVID 19 and guidance surrounding that, we are still working on figuring details out. We will continue to post updates as we are able to.
