We designed, fabricated, and will install this stainless steel platform for a pharmaceutical client. The platform was fabricated out of 4" x 4" x 1/4" and 2" x 2" x 1/4" tubing. All visible outside corner welds were grounded smooth and polished. We fabricated and assembled the platform here in our shop, then disassembled and bundled all the parts for storage for a sequenced installation in Q1 2021.

We designed, fabricated, and installed an aluminum extension platform for a pharmaceutical client. The extension platform was installed in a mechanical room on top of existing steel. We designed the hand rails to be higher than usual so the maintenance personnel could use a step ladder to reach higher mechanical valves.

Thanks to Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association (SMACNA) for highlighting our industrial work experience in this month's Newsletter. We've used the U.S. Marine Corps' motto of "improve, adapt, and overcome" throughout the pandemic as we've all been faced with new challenges. As businesses re-open and are met with new guidelines and procedures, Ernest D. Menold, Inc. is here for all your metalworking needs. https://bit.ly/32lvNmP

We celebrated two things today with a lunch truck from Zac's Hamburgers: (1) over 95% of our workforce has now returned to work in the midst of the pandemic, and (2) we finished renovating our shop foreman's office within our fabrication shop here in Tinicum. We're proud of our team of essential workers for making decisions that support the health of themselves and of their families, as well as following and adhering to all state and company issued mandates, rules, and new processes in general.

Our Tuesday Toolbox talks are a bit more spread out throughout our shop these days, but the emphasis on safety is stronger than ever. We cover our regular scheduled topics, as well as provide weekly updates on everything COVID19 related, given the changing pace of the situation.

We designed, fabricated, and installed sixteen (16) protective screens at Christiana Hospital's Green Roof. Our design team got to showcase their creative skills with the pattern. The screens provide privacy to the hospital rooms looking out on the Green Roof. We designed the screens to be hinged so that windows can be access for cleaning. All the material was aluminum and later powder coated to a champagne-type finish. #CustomAluminium
