#3 Look How Far We Have Come! My name is Bill Barnes. I am the President of the Board of Directors at Easterseals of SEPA. I was also an Easterseals client. ...My journey with Easterseals began when I was three years old as a client in the Bucks County Division receiving #PhysicalTherapy and #EarlyIntervention preschool services. As a young adult, I served as a counselor at Easterseals’ summer camp, then I became the Camp Director, and later I joined the board of directors. I am also a Middle School Teacher in the Neshaminy School District. I have a lifetime of experience with Easterseals. But I have never seen anything like the obstacles that 2020 has brought to our door. No one has been left untouched by the global pandemic. The families we serve the families of kids with disabilities have been hit really hard. We’ve been hit really hard. The challenges of meeting the critical safety precautions necessitated by the pandemic, at the same time as meeting the highly individualized needs of our clients pushed us well beyond our budgeted expenses.
