Eastern Traditional Archery Rendezvous

Update: ETAR dates July 22nd - 25th, 2021! As probably with most of you, this has been a crazy year for us. Right now we are still in the process of working things out with the State to hold the event at Denton Hill State Park. Unfortunately, with Covid and a few other things, we will not know for another month or two if this is or is not a possibility. If we cannot hold ETAR at Denton Hill, we will host the event at Ski Sawmill. We will keep you posted as we find out more in the coming months. Thanks for your patience!

Update: We have waited as long as we feel we can in order to make a final decision. We have been in contact with state throughout this process. Our hope was that there might be exceptions made, or mitigation actions we could take, in order to still put on this great event. We recently got word from the state that we will not be allowed to operate ETAR or PCBF at Ski Denton this year. Update! We have been taken to the Green phase here in Potter County, but with the current restrictions in place, we are unclear if we could still make a go of it. Right now, we are committing to wait until the last possible moment, which could be as late as the end of June to make a final decision. Guidelines have been updated and changed so much that we want to give this event every chance to happen that we can. Not only do we depend on this shoot, but it supports the local ...economy tremendously, as well as the many dealers whom you all love to see. For some of these dealers losing ETAR could prove fatal and we don't want to see that happen. We have been in close contact w/ our representatives and other officials trying to see what options there are moving forward. We will continue to monitor the situation and make the final call when we have enough information to do so. So for now keep the hope alive! See more

UPDATE! As of right now we are getting a ton of calls, emails, messages etc about whether or not we are hosting the event still this summer w/ the Covid outbreak. The short version is, YES WE STILL PLAN ON HOSTING THE EVENT. Same time and same place unless otherwise directed by government or health officials. We will continue to look at all our options as we move forward but are hopeful things will be opened up by then. What a great reunion it will be after these months of b...eing quarantined, to see people again, and get back to doing some of the things we love! This festival is important for many reasons: 1. The local economy here needs it. 2. Many of our Trad dealers have expressed how important it is to their business and are concerned w/o it this year they may need to close their doors . 3. You festival goers who've come to make it a part of your year whether buying, selling, seeing old friends, or getting muddy out on the courses. For all of these reasons and more we will do our best to keep things on track for another great ETAR in July 2020! Because from week to week things are changing so much we have chosen to not do a direct mailer this year but rather convey updates and information on the shoot thru facebook and our website.
