As our season comes to an end, Ettinger's would like to express our gratitude to each one of you. In spite of a global challenge, gardening was still a vital part of your lives and we are so proud and privileged to offer plants, mulch, landscapes services as an outlet to enjoy your own gardens. We look forward to next season with lots of seminars and home garden projects. We will be adding several more local artisans garden art, and of course, our high quality plants, trees, and shrubs. We truly thank each one of you for your patronage and support. Have a safe and healthy holiday season and we look forward to seeing you in Spring 2021! Sincerely, Ettinger's Landscaping and Garden Center

TUESDAY'S TIP Garlic Garlic is easy to grow and this the time of year to plant! It's best to use garlic that you get from the farmers market as it has not been sprayed with growth inhibitor. Gently separate cloves, leaving the skin on, and plant in a prepared bed or pot. Add compost to the soil and plant approximately 3 inches deep and 3 inches apart. Cover and water, then watch in the spring as your garlic grows. Remove the garlic scapes to allow the bulb to grow large, b...ut save the scapes! They are edible and can be eaten raw or sauteed. When the leaves are half green and half are dying (between June and August) it's time to dig your garlic and harvest! See more
