A while back I had the pleasure of having a wonderful conversation with Elizabeth and Rachel on their new podcast, Everyday Thin Places. If you have not checked... them out yet, I highly recommend it again! They're continuing to hold amazing and gracious conversations - and they are growing! They cover a wide range of topics; always piecing beyond the veil and finding the depth of meaning and sacredness of everyday life - highlighting those places where it connects most strongly to the Divine. You know, the Everyday Thin Places. Recently they chatted with Rob Bell about this everyday spirituality. Check it out!
We will be gathering in the Garden Space at the church again on Sunday (12/6) at 4pm. You may want to bring blankets. This service lasts about 30 minutes.

Again this Sunday (October 25), we will be gathering outside at Lutheran Settlement House: 1340 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125. We will be on the Garden side - the lot across from their building. 11am Just look for me - sometimes we have to move around, depending what space is free. ... Please keep in mind: Masks are required, as is social distancing - in order to make this as safe as possible. If you are feeling at all ill, please remain home and contact us on here and visit our YouTube Channel. This service will not be streamed, but we will continue to post videos on there for each Sunday. Also know that this service will be abbreviated. Please bring your own seat (blanket, chair, whatever), seating is not otherwise provided. If you can, please also bring a pair of work gloves and we will do a quick clean up around the space. If weather becomes problematic we will move to the Playgroup Space, upstairs in the back building behind the church.
We had a special guest today at our outdoor service. They couldn't stay the whole time, but gave us a quick chirp of a meow, gave me a quick head bump, and then headed off.
Since it is happening on Instagram and Twitter - it may happen here. There are people posing as me asking for money. It is not me.
The video for Sunday, October 18 is now available.
World Aids Day occurs in Advent for the Church. Advent is about the arrival of Christ. Christ is present to is through those who are ill. One way we worship God is through caring for them.

Hi Friends! Happy Coming Out Day! I had the joy of participating in this message from my Synod (its like a diocese) for this day. Bishop Davenport (who can be ...seen among the clergy at my reveal) and Bishop Guy (who was with Pastor Megan at my conversation with Karamo) are also included in this message. I am at the end. It is amazing to me to be part of this. God loves you on your journey - no matter where you are on it - in, out, whatever. You are loved by God as you are; and God will strive with you. It keeps getting better! I am thankful to the In God's Image planning team for inviting me to be part of this project.

*Content warning: suicide, racism, child death, transphobia, lynching/nooses.* In response to a disturbing and racist occurrence by a neighbor, a community comes together in support of this family, be anti-racist in action, and to vocalize awareness and normalize death by suicide, which is one of the leading causes of death in our country and *second* amongst youth. Please join us as Pastor Noah leads a prayer at the candlelight vigil for our neighbors’ child, and all those ...lost to suicide. https://fb.me/e/3tiYnR35k
