Healthcare workers qualifying under the state’s Phase 1A protocols for the COVID-19 vaccine can now register at www.EvanHospital.com/virus/. We are taking registrations and forming a list of those healthcare workers wanting to receive the vaccine. That list will be used when the vaccines arrive and dates are set for healthcare worker vaccine clinics. Please note: This registration process is for healthcare workers covered under Phase 1A. The state has not provided details on the public vaccination process yet.

It's important to know how to properly wear and remove a mask for the most effectiveness. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: Wear your Mask Correctly- *Wash your hands before putting on your mask *Put it over your nose and mouth and secure it under your chin... *Try to fit it snugly against the sides of your face *Make sure you can breathe easily *The CDC does not recommend use of masks or cloth masks for source control if they have an exhalation valve or vent Take Off Your Mask Carefully, When You’re Home- *Untie the strings behind your head or stretch the ear loops *Handle only by the ear loops or ties *Fold outside corners together *Place mask in the washing machine or dispose after wearing several times if it is a disposable mask *Be careful not to touch your eyes, nose, and mouth when removing and wash hands immediately after removing Together we can help slow or stop the spread of COVID-19.
