here with a picture of my kid to let you know we will be changing to summer hours at both shops. fairmount will now be closed sundays, mondays, and tuesdays. open wed-fri 1pm-6pm, saturdays 10-5. we are backed up on repairs and this will allow us to do more and stress less. need a bike? check our website for info on preordering new bikes and to see what used bikes we have at @brewerytownbicycles

I've been hemming and hawing about what to post here. My first thought was that what's important right now is to listen to Black leaders and organizers; not me. And because this is a business account, I didn't want anything I posted to be viewed as an advertisement for the shop.. like "hey wow look how woke our bike shop is, buy shit from us." I knew I didn't want to stay silent, but I also know we're a for-profit white-owned business trying to post sincere thoughts and ideas. . We whole-heartedly support the Black Lives Matter movement. . hey y’all! wild times we’re living in. our plan is to stay open and limit the shop to one customer at a time. we’re asking that you wait outside til you see one of us available to help. we’re trying to do what makes sense for customers, the shop crew, and society as a whole, and we all feel that bicycles are important (always, but especially right now) for both transportation and recreation. let’s be patient and kind to one another
