Got a fast ride in today on my trainer. Yay me. Fitness isn’t about being the fastest or the fittest or being the best. It is about improving slowly and consistently over time. It doesn’t happen overnight. I am definitely not one of the fastest when I ride on Zwift, but I ride several times a week and today I hit three PR’s. Set a goal, and work at it daily, weekly and monthly. The results will come. Have an awesome weekend!

The winter can be a difficult time for many to get in their workouts. Especially with cardio. You may be bored with the same old cardio routine week in and week out. The point is, to be consistent it needs to be varied in time, difficulty and method. Whether you like to go outside for a run, walk, hike or cycle outside, do a peloton workout or in my case Zwift-mix it up! You are more likely to stick with it. Make it fun, whatever is fun for you.
