FLB Unified Club

We hope you all had a fun, safe, and candy-filled Halloween!! Here are some pictures from our spooky October meeting that consisted of relay races, trivia, flavored popcorn, and ooey, gooey feel-boxes filled with brains, guts, eyeballs, teeth, fingers, and a heart!

Some of our Unified Club members in the Middle School spent the day volunteering at the Erie Zoo! They decorated toys for the meerkats then got to work sweeping up the grounds!

Another year of Unified Club is underway! We had a blast seeing old faces and meeting new friends! Can't wait to see you all next month!

Mrs. Strimel, Mrs. Hunter, Mrs. Proctor, and Mrs. Travis met up at Presque Isle to clean up litter on the beaches with their students! They couldn't have asked for a better day or better students!

Building Trust~ Gaining Confidence~Strength~Motivatation~ Determination~Building Relationships~ Working hard~Setting goals~Teamwork. These words describe the beauty of sports and being an athlete. Watching a team work together towards one vision is a powerful thing to witness and be a part of. Programs like Buddy Up Tennis (*see link below) allow ALL children to discover what it's like to be an athlete. These kids are experiencing qualities of life that are learned beyond ...the classroom. *We are so fortunate to have a community/school that offers programs similar to Buddy Up Tennis: FLB Challengers Baseball team and our very own UNIFIED Track & Field team (only offered to HS students)!!
